Youphonium #2

Youphonium #2 is a musical browser toy where you can control dozens of chiptune-like virtual instruments in a variety of analog-inspired ways. There are multiple control options using a webcam or a gamepad, and you can also play with everything using just a mouse and keyboard.

Start Youphonium #2 in a big browser window and look for the guide on the right-hand side. The guide will step you through setting up all the different parts of Youphonium #2, one at a time. Follow along with the examples, and soon you'll be in control of your own live experimental music!

Because this toy uses browser technology in unusual ways, some browsers, operating systems, or input devices might have bugs we didn't encounter in our own testing. Report any problems in the comments below! If you have a problem in Chromium or Edge, please check if the same problem happens in Firefox, and vice versa. Playing through the Itch app, instead of a Web browser, is not recommended, and we might not be able to fix bugs that happen from that.
